With the success of the 2016 Ascot Racing Carnival in spring, focus moved to expanding the 'Good Times' messaging and positive raceday experiences to the newly branded Autumn Ascot Racing Carnival.
The creative concept produced was centred around the idea that Ascot Racecourse is the place to be in Perth and offers more than just sport. People come to the Autumn Racing Carnival for the fashion, food, entertainment and an overall social experience with friends.
Through radio, press, outdoor and digital channels, increased tickets sales were seen for the 2017 Autumn Ascot Racing Carnival.

This included designing the Inglis 150 years brochure which was sent out to all shareholders and clients, to producing a video showcasing the company's history and traditions since 1867.
Choices Flooring are ahead of the game when it comes to keeping up with the latest technology and the constant evolution of digital platforms and media options. As they stepped up their game, going live with their new website, they wanted to push the boundaries of online advertising.
We know we can accurately track people clicking on an advertisement and visiting a website, but how do we track people clicking on the same ad and visiting a Choices store? For their upcoming branding campaign, that was our challenge.
The solution was in-app advertising using mobile geo-location targeting to find out who was entering a Choices Flooring or competitor's store nationally. We then served mobile advertising to these consumers who we know are in-market. Through this specific geo-location targeting, we were then able to report on footfall seen in stores after the ads were served.
Through this campaign we saw an average click through rate of 1.75% and of these people 10% then visited a Choices Flooring store.
Choices Flooring has experienced rapid growth as a company now with more than 140 stores across Australia. Our challenge was to increase instore traffic within the Sydney market through a specific and cost effective media strategy. Across the digital platform nationally, we have driven traffic through the Choices Flooring website, helping build awareness of popular and innovative flooring ranges, and in turn increasing footfall in retail stores.

The Perth marketplace experienced an increase in competition with new events and festivals launching in 2016. With the apparent rise in competing sporting events, Advertising Associates rebranded the Perth Racing spring carnival to generate awareness and create excitement, showcasing the amazing facilities at Ascot.
The Ascot Racing Carnival was launched spreading the 'Good Times' message across Perth starting with high visibility outdoor and transit options. Through the rebrand and highly targeted media planning, increased ticket sales for the 2016 Carnival were achieved.

The challenge for Advertising Associates was to educate people about the concept of backing and laying, Betfair’s main point of difference in the marketplace.
